You are cordially invited to attend the Beatification Ceremony at the Mariendom (St. Mary?s Cathedral) in Linz.

On 26th October 2007, several events will be taking place in Linz (e.g. the city run in the city centre; tennis tournament at the Stadium), so that increased traffic and some closed roads must be expected. Please therefore plan your journey to the Beatification Ceremony in good time, allowing yourself plenty of time to find a parking space and to walk to St. Mary?s Cathedral.
Please note: the free parking spaces at the Stadium will not be available on this day, and also there will be only limited parking space on Urfahr Market square, due to reconstruction work on the square. Please therefore use the underground car parks in the area surrounding St. Mary?s Cathedral, particularly those near Linz Railway Station (15 minutes? walk to the Cathedral), or the available parking facilities on Freinberg and Froschberg.
We recommend that you travel by public transport or in coach parties. Larger groups, particularly coach parties, are asked to kindly notify the General Secretariat of Catholic Action in advance that they plan to attend the ceremony ? Tel: +43 (0) 732 / 7610-3411. Here, you can obtain information about routes into Linz and parking spaces for coaches.
There is no need to buy a ticket for admission to the Cathedral and the Beatification Ceremony.
People are welcome to bring small folding stools to sit on during the approx. two-hour ceremony, in case the available seating space is not sufficient.
